Weight forward of the trailer axles increase HW, weight aft decreases. As I understand it.
Ooooooh.....so HW, that counts towards the payload. So if the ideal HW is 10-15% of the trailer's GW, a 9K# trailer should have a HW between 900 and 1,350#. That figure can't exceed either the hitch rating OR the payload of the truck.
Sidecar, I'm sorta in your camp, but I guess at the same time I realize technology CAN sometimes achieve amazing things.....hence my surprise at the numbers I was seeing for the -150. I gather the 2nd Gen Eco is a pretty new motor, and that 10-gear transmissions as well. That gives me some pause.
