My pick would be the HD F150, but I would be looking at a Travel Trailer that grossed around 7,000-8,000.
My 97 F150 towed my 31.5 ft like a champ but it only weighted about 7,000-7,500 lbs loaded up for camping.
My 99 F350 XL V10 Dually was not a great experience for me and I was glad to get rid of that truck.
There are tons and tons of really nice and comfortable TT that gross out around 7,000-8,000 lbs that match up with some Half Tons just fine.
Remember tails wag 3/4 ton and 1 ton dogs too. You have to load the trailer and set up the hitch correctly. That is key.
