I am happy towing 8000lbs with mine. You will want to keep an eye on payload and plan for downhill runs carefully. The EB provides minimal engine braking. It pulls well and has plenty of low end torque. With that said, I will use this platform another year because it is also my daily driver. In early 2019, I am planning for an F250 Gas with 4.30 gears for my long term needs,. Won't need the truck for a daily driver by then and will make the switch.
