A 4,500 pound aluminum pickup towing a 9,000 pound trailer that is 9 feet tall, 30 feet long and 8 feet wide might get interesting in an emergency situation.
And Why would this be any different than a 7000 or 8000 lb 1 ton towing a 15,000 lb RV or even a 22,000 lb RV? See lots of that because that's what they are rated for. Weight difference is more then twice of what you are quoting.
