The max tongue weight for the F-250 is 1500 lbs either way.
I also would like to know what hitch you have that gives 1500 lbs tongue weight with or without a WD hitch?
This is a hitch removed from a 2015/16 Ford F-350 DRW that I copied off the net looking for something I wanted.A class V hitch.
