I am confused by this post and hitches in general..In reading each link you provided it clearly says class IV hitches have a 2" tube and class V a 2.5" tube..Coming off a modern F-350 Dually I just figured it was Fords weak version of a class v hitch.I does have WD up to 19,000 pounds which a class iv does not..
So what class is it?
That is exactly the point of my post. :) The class is basicly what ever you want to call it. In this case, I would probably call it a Class V hitch. Others may not.:@ Personally, I would not worry a bit about the "class" and just pay attention to the weight limitations.
