It is easily turned off. I wouldn't let that feature limit your purchase options.
So far as I know the 2.0L I4 Turbo and the 3.6L V6 both have Engine Stop/Start Systems as standard equipment. This feature can be turned off, but you have to do it every ignition cycle.
