2019 Chevy LTZ Duramax CC Dually payload?

Thanks All.

First thing i do is check the door/glovebox...but that doesn’t give you actual truck and axle weights. Only a trip to the scales will give you those numbers!

Here’s another (crazy) question; 2 similar trucks one lists the “A” dimension (camper loading) as 43” the other as 62”!
WTF?

I thought GM always measured the “A” from the rear?!

Use GM weight calculator. It figures std packages and all added options for the trucks axle weights and gvwr weights.
The only way to find a trucks real payload is scaled axle weights. Then do the math.

Example from the calculator; ....3500 DRW 2wd LTZ diesel crew cab long bed = 6476 RAWR payload...5816 gvwr payload.

For 3500 DRW, it starts at these numbers. Actual numbers may vary due to how it’s configured. Best thing to do is go read some door stickers for the models you want.

Gasoline 6112 lbs
Diesel 5281lbs

Did Chevy up their GVWR number to 14k? I thought is was less.

My 2013 scaled at 8800. My payload is just under 5k.

14k gvw, payload will be around 5500lbs. Guessing truck is about 8500.
