I sure the 2.7EB will come at a later date however the current engine claims class leading torque.

It was tested here. For some reason they have gone for 210hp 500lbs ft 2 LITRE DIESELS for the RANGER RAPTOR

I think it is a good looking truck. Between GM and Toyota, I think there are over 400,000 mid sized trucks sold every year, so there obviously is a market.

I am sure this will be a winner for Ford.

I like it, but it looks a lot like the new Honda Ridgeline. Hopefully it is a hit for Ford.

Not a bad looking trucklet. I'd still personally buy a Tacoma in this class for the unbeatable resale values but I'm sure this is more powerful and refined. All that being said, to me midsize trucks are sort of a niche vehicle for folks with smaller garages or who do a lot of urban driving. Where we live, work and play, there's not much downside to a full size truck in comparison and you get a lot more room and capability. My comments are directed specifically towards US buyers.

To me it looks a lot like an F150 or Explorer.

Sadly, that color is worse in person. If you have infant grandchildren you will know what I mean !
