This outlandish claim is diametrically opposite real world information. Those towing within the trucks limits are pleased with the coils. Heck I remember back in the 50s when Chevrolet put coil springs on pickups. They worked great in their day.
I seem to remember them bouncing down the road because they destroyed shocks and ate suspension bushings.
Coils belong on a lugs your arse car, not on a truck but you already know that so I'm not going to pee in your cereal anymore.
