According to what is stated under the title of the article, 409hp and 775 lb-ft at the wheels. That is 13% drop from what Ford's advertised 475 crank horsepower which is inline with the usual drive line power loss, but the 26% drop from the advertised 1,050 lb-ft is way more than usual. Absolutley pointless test without having huge volumes of air flowing through the charge air cooler. It shows that they don't have even a basic understanding of what is involved. It's actually impressive that it was that close to the factory numbers without benefit of the CAC.

For that short run a fan or no fan is pointless

Agreed that the diesel did well on the dyno but the 7.3L numbers are a bit disappointing.....:(

Yes, that 2020 6.7L sure performed well on the dyno. I really am excited to see how these trucks do on the Ike test.

Interesting that the 7.3 HP increase is not as significant over the 6.2 compared to the 2019 vs 2020 6.7PSD increase. I suppose the 7.3 was at some disadvantage from the larger tires and 5 Star mentions some signs of Tq management occurring.

Also noteworthy is the 6.2 HP numbers measured at All Star is less than Pickup Trucks.com numbers and are very in line with the factory numbers.

For those who may be curious (like me), in this test, the 6.4L Hemi and the Ford 6.2L gas engine were very close to the same power and tq on the dyno.

While the power/torque increases are legit since they are using the same dyno to calculate the difference, I would not trust the final output numbers because Mikes dyno tends to read much higher than other dynos. I am not sure if it is due to his set up or correction factors, but none of us on the F150 forum could get close to his dyno numbers. His dyno was always 40-50 hp higher than everyone else in the forum in both stock form and with his tunes.

Having said that then perhaps the 2020 6.7 is sandbagging HP or the transmission is more efficient?

I don't think so. Most other dynos I have seen show the 2019 at 385 hp(not 401 hp) at the wheel which is inline with a 15% drivetrain lose. The 2020 should read around 405 hp with a 15% drivetrain loss, and I would not doubt that it would read that on most other dynos. However, Mike's dyno reads much higher than most as I stated so his peak numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.

Then why did you agree with the 59HP increase measured HP when the factory advertised HP increase is only 25HP?

Impressive numbers to compare a 19 to a 20, but you gotta remember that dynos read very different, so the only comparison you can make is truck to truck on that same dyno.

I'm looking forward to the follow up video where they test the 6.2L gas against the 7.3L gas.
