The price is what's killing the Gladiator. Dennis Dillon is widely known as a volume dealership with about the best pricing you can get anywhere. The cheapest Gladiator they have on their lot right now is $35k, and the cheapest Rubicon version is $53k.
The diesel Ram in my sig was $39k in spring 2015. I think they're a little higher now but that still seems crazy to me to spend more on a Gladiator than a full size truck with a Cummins in it.
