235/80-16 ST tires - LT equivalent

Need to put new shoes on the toy hauler.
It's got 235/80-16 trailer tires right now, but I want to go with an E-rated LT tire. Since this isn't a common LT size, what LT tire size/tires are you guys running?

I don't really have the scratch for Michelin XP Ribs or Goodyear Gxxx tires, am considering BF Goodrich Long Trail TA's or similar, depending on size...

I hope this doesn't turn into a post debating ST vs. LT tires...
  • 235/85/16 is the next step up. They are 1" taller and that is what i went with. I went the Bridgestone R-250 route and love them....except for one thing! My X-Chocks don't fit anymore! The other common LT sorta equivalent is 245/75/16 which are about the same diameter but a little wider than the 235/80. If I was going to do it over I would go the 245/75 route.
  • Go to Americas tire web site and put the size in. You'll get lits of choices

That might be a more common size than you think.
A lot of duallys run them.
