Just saying as a matter of fact,that a trip like that is common here. I doubt Europeans would be pulling their lighweight trailers anywhere near your distances It is case of horses for courses
No, a trip like that isn't common in Australia. For one, your little diesels aren't licenced to tow over 3,500 kg so they definitely will not tow the 4,500 kg the OP was towing. Second, the highest road in Australia is only 6,000 ft and no where near the 9,000 plus feet the OP was towing. Third, the speed limit on that road that goes to 6,000 ft is only 50 mph and not the 65 mph the OP was towing. So no, it isn't common over there no matter how much you want it to be with your lying.
