No one said anything about 9,000 miles. I said 9,000 plus ft elevation, as in UP, that the OP might had to drive. He was also towing weight that is well over what your little trucks are licenced for. So you trying to marginalize the OP and his fuel mileage by saying his type of fuel mileage is common there(Australia) is false, because the type of conditions he was towing in does't exist in Australia.
