I just wanted to update this thread.
I went on another trip and drove about 1.5 hours on I-65.
Looked like my truck was a little low in the rear and dealer did comment if I had any sway, try raising it one chain link.
So I did raise one chain link and man did the rig tow well. I was towing through a windy rain storm and was actually not happy about towing on the slick roads. I was towing between 60 - 65mph and boy did the rig tow well!
I did get on a spot of concrete and got some bad porpoising but I've had that in other rigs with the Reese Strait-Line. Just didn't notice this the previous trip. But as far as handling, it was great!
I didn't get any wallowing from the P-series tires and them aired to a cold 36 psi. Perhaps the side winds weren't as strong as my last trip.
I'm still thinking that the previous trip's very high side wind speeds caused some issues but now adding another chain link on the bars for sway control and rear lift made the ride and handling that much better.
I now show 3 1/2 chain links showing on the side, previously was showing 4 1/2 chain links. 3 1/2 links is actually where the instruction say is a good starting point. Don't know if that's for hitch weights in the center of the spring bar range.
