It took 8 years for Cummins to go from 2000000 engines for Ram to 3000000. I've read that in 2006 production of the Duramax was limited to 200000 units. Ford manufactured 500000 6.7 Powerstrokes in their first 3 years of production. Because so many fewer Cummins engines are being produced vs the other guys I really find it hard to believe Canada is selling more 6.7 Cummins than either of the other two.- I’m quite certain that Ram/Cummins is the best selling diesel truck in Canada; I can’t recall where I’ve read that but it’s been more than once.

Ram would be close to GM and Chevrolet combined. I know some people claim that if you just look at the diesel market Ram's numbers improve but I don't know where they are getting their info from.

- According to the press release I found on Cummins website, the engine will go into a Ram and Cummins has designed a commemorative valve or engine cover to place on it and the owner will receive a plaque IIRC. Probably no negotiation on that truck.....
- Two of my 5.9's have over 400k each, Son and a friends Son own them now. One 6.7 traded on current 6.7 both 68k. Oh yea and this last beauty with only 138k that I use for everyday use in the NW and towing my SaltWater Boat.

You can add that to the Medium Duty classification also!- I have had two 5.9's, one 6.7 and two 3.9's(19 years and 2800 hours), knock on wood, I never had a major bolt, turbo or other part off any of them.
