A few years ago we made the move from full time live aboard boating to RVing. With this we kept several items that are pretty much interchangeable in our great lifestyle. Although we do not live full time in an RV at this time--sold the 5th wheel and bought a park model and a class B motorhome, (pleasureway excel TS 2010) we travel in the PW as often as we can. We carry an electrical hook-up bag with us all time. This bag should include all your possible hookups. We have our 30 amp cord, a 30 amp extension cord from camping world, adapters for 30 to 50 amp service and something that most RVers dont think of till they may need is a converter for 30 amp marine service. THAT plug is completely different. It converts the 30 amp marine to a 110 3 prong and then we use a 3 prong to 30 amp connector for the final mix to the PW. The marine connector is by marinco, barrel type about 4 inches long. Any West marine store has them. The other connectors we purchased at Wal Mart, (cheapest around). This should cover all options as far as we know. B safe, B happy, Go RVing.
