Furnace can be run with out being plugged into any 110V AC power source.
It runs off the battery....12V DC. The fan blower, the gas valve, the control circuits all 12V DC.
It won't run all night cause it is a DC power hog......unless you have a large battery bank.
Plugging into a 110V AC power source will enable the converter to charge battery while it is running the furnace.
