3/4t vs 1t differences
I realize there has been many questions asked about this and I have read quite a few but still doesn't really answer my curiosity completely, so here it goes... Say if I need to use the truck 60-70...

Seems the highest they've ever been are 5750 and 6500 respectively so your numbers may be off unless there was a year with a 6k FGAWR I'm missing.
3/4 ton is very similar to a 1-ton but legally it's still a 3/4ton despite the protestations. Rides nice though.
I have a 2014 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 CTD.....
Also, depending on where you live, you can register a 3/4 ton for a higher GVWR which makes it a legal 1 ton. In Texas, a 10,001 GVWR and up truck registration fee is twice as much as a 6,001 to 10,000 lb GVWR truck.
