If GVWR sets the class and the 350 can have either GVWR, then why can't one truck cover both needs and eliminate the confusion?
Then that would make all of the other manufacturers and fan boys cry foul just like they did when Ford lowered the payload and weight of the F450 to make it fit into class 3 last year. They also wouldn't be able to make that extra $500 on suckers that buy an F350 with the optional 10,000 lb GVWR package when an F250 with a $160 camper package is the exact same truck, but with an F250 badge.
