I realize there has been many questions asked about this and I have read quite a few but still doesn't really answer my curiosity completely, so here it goes...
Say if I need to use the truck 60-70% of the time not towing and expect to use it daily on all road conditions including typical North East potholes, do these two make much differences? Or does brand make more difference? From my understanding, GM models ride the best...
I listen to very little "hear-say"....I would drive all three and make up my own mind based on cost and usage....In my opinion....if I use the truck 60-70% of the time to get around and do some towing, I STILL want a truck that will SAFELY handle what I want to tow...thus the reason my 1 ton crew cab, long bed dually is not only my daily driver but also tows my 5er....I'd get what I needed tow tow with first, then the rest falls into place....a 3/4 ton will drive smoother than a 1 ton SRW truck...if the 3/4 ton will tow what you need, you killed two birds with one stone, but if you need a 1 ton SRW to tow SAFELY, then the 1 ton is what I would purchase, or can what you're towing now and get something the 3/4 ton can tow...simple..
