I have been in both soft side and hard side campers. There are obvious differences and advantages to all campers. I stated what I believe is one plus for the popups, I did not mention weather, food, or bathrooms, yet your reply was to point out that "yours" is much better in all areas and at least equal in others. Come on! My post was an expression of how much fun it is to experience a great morning, not that my camper is as good as anyone else's. There are dozens of "comparison" threads out there, for those of you who seem to enjoy that sort of argument.

A fair question to ask. I probably have the same view as other TCs, soft or hard side. :B If I could see out, others could see in. :E I prefer they did not.

That is a great feeling, I had pup ups for over 15 years is one advantage I miss!

No arguing from me. I'm tied to a job that pays for my fun so I cannot chase the weather yet. Instead, I made my mobile abode comfortable for all seasons.

Owning a popup trailer in the past I know even more so the airy feeling you get with soft sides and large expanses of screen. If I lived in a drier climate or only camped seasonally, I see the advantages to these rigs. To get that type of view now, I have to step out of the TC (which isn't necessarily a bad thing to do).

I'm not sure I want ask how Wayne has such good view from his toilet. It doesn't make a good visual...

If you don't get that a popup with all the windows open has a more expansive view and feeling, then you either just like to argue or have never been in one. I am one of those that prefer a hardside. I can open all windows with a full 360 view and ventilation. Minimal in front due to no cabover window (optional). If I were camped where you are, I would experience the mild summer breeze and the morning sunshine coming in one side and out the other. I could/would also see the lake out one side, the sun out the other, the golf course in front, and the shade trees to the rear. In the winter, I would be warm and toasty, with the same view, including those times I was traveling and pulled over to have a sandwich or use the toilet. :B

One does not have to be in Yellowstone to enjoy "nature". Been there several times. I chase good weather around the country and today I happen to be parked on a peninsula with a golf course. Sorry if that makes you laugh.

It really is quite nice when you are parked on the lake shore or river bank.
