3rd gen Dodge exhaust brake with auto trans
Wondering if anyone on here has an exhaust brake on their 3rd gen 03-07 Dodge Ram with automatic transmission and do you like it? Is it complicated to use? I know the torque converter needs to be lock...

2007 Dodge 3500 5.9L CTD with 48RE Auto Tranny and a US GEAR Decelerator Exhaust Brake since new.
EB is electric operated......simple ON/OFF button attached to dash.
Controller Board installed under dash. 12V to continuous duty solenoid closes 4" butterfly valve (2" butterfly valve controls backpressure).
Turn it ON.........let off accelerator pedal and 4" butterfly closes
Press on accelerator pedal...4" opens.
Simple
Tow/Haul Mode and EB ON..........holds 45 mph 6% grade towing 14K 5th wheel
BEST mod ---------2nd best mod set of A pillar gauges (EGT/Tranny/Boost)
