It can't put more torque on the drivetrain as the wheels just spin releasing the excess torque.
That said modern stock engines are incredibly powerful compared to 30-40yrs ago.
I believe last time Andre was there testing a tuned EcoBoost F150, he sheared the driveshaft off due to excessive torque and traction.
Drag racing is hard on most drivetrains. Keep drag racing with a tuned 5L and you will likely break something sooner or later.
