I'm guessing that the Dakota has the 4.7L V8? I think your Nissan may have 180 hp. The 4.7 Dakota is probably 230 hp. But it's a big step up in torque, almost 50% more.
You'd see an even more dramatic difference if you found something with the 5.7L under the hood.
I won't be without either AWD or 4WD any more... and I don't even live in the snow belt like you do! :D
