This must be what's nipping on the heels of Tesla that made Elon Musk announce their own Tesla all electric pick up -- topic of similar discussion and vigorous debate in this forum.
My son who works for Tesla speculated with the many ICE pick ups under cover in their lab, that it might be the F150 that will serve as Tesla's platform for their pick up. Not remote with F150 lower weight to give way for it to carry more batteries for longer range and payload.
EV semis from Tesla are already here and in test runs.
