I found a good deal on a low mileage Ram dually 2WD so I went with it. My only issue has been clamming on the Washington coast. I hit soft sand at the end of the entrance ramp to the beach and the heavy front end combined with skinny tires created a problem. Fortunately I had enough gusto to power through it. Other than that no issues.
The 2WD trucks of my year have rack and pinion steering. Tracking and steering is far superior to my son's 2007 4WD.
