Some of these repair prices cover the cost of a replacement V10 in my last dually.
OP...may be a help in you decision...here is a man who makes his living off Powerstroke repairs...
Buying a used 6.4 PowerstrokeI would highly recommend a newer Diesel with DEF or whatever you are comfortable with...I'm seriously afraid that this is a symptom of a much larger problem.
