I feel your pain. I've fallen down that rabbit hole with a dealership too. Fortunately most of my issues, 3 of which they made worse before finally fixing (hopefully) over several months, were mostly covered under the extended warranty. The warranty was also the reason I had to use the dealership instead of a quality diesel shop. Good luck!
Yikes, we have lived this nightmare:
2 turbos
3 EGR coolers
3 Oil coolers
3 Alternators
6 Batterys
Numerous pieces required to complete repair
My wife and I share your pain, stress and frustration, not to mention the financial portion, that's the worst. I cross my fingers every time I start it.
