If you have lost faith in the truck (as I would have also) you need to unload it. I was in the same boat with my 2005 6.0 PSD. I loved the truck, but when the issues started and being very aware of the problems with the 6.0 I was a nervous wreck on every trip and every tow with my family on board hoping we'd make it and cringing at every little odd sound. And unfortunately the only cure is to get into something else with a better track record. The 6.0 was great for 5 years and 90,000 miles. But when it started acting up, it was like a snowball rolling down hill. Best of luck on repairs and whatever you decide after that.
