6.7 Powerstroke 1 year later

I have owned a 2014 Ford F350... bought new, for a year now with a 6.7 Powerstroke Crew Cab 4x4 long box. I have had o problems with it.

Drove it to Wyoming then to Western NY back to Kansas and then drove it to So. Cal and back pulling my TT plus all the local driving I do with it. I have owned a couple new 7.3's and thought they would never build a truck better than those trucks but I am here to tell you they did !!

It gets 18 highway alone and 12 mpg pulling the TT on a calm day now if the wind is blowing head on at 30 mph fuel mileage goes down. Pulling a trailer I have to put DEF in about every 1000 miles , not empty just tells me it's below half full so I fill it... 1 1/2 to 2 gallons. Empty I go months without adding any DEF. Truck has more power than any pickup I have ever owned and I have owned diesel pickups since 1992. I would buy this truck again in a heart beat !! I don't care what kind of truck anyone owns !! I don't care if you love Fords or hate them . What I am saying is ...What a great truck this has been so far.
  • Nice report, and there's many reasons to be happy with a new powerstroke!

You have less than 20 thousand miles on your truck!!!! It's a brand new freaking truck!!! I would hope you have had 0 problems with your engine/truck up to this point!! :?

My truck has 90 thousand miles on it right now and I have no idea if it is a good engine/truck. Talk to me at the 200K mark and I will give you my opinion then. :)
  • 6.7 Powerstroke 2 1/2 yrs later. Great truck. Bought new, now 27,000 miles. Tows the 5er with plenty of power, even over CO mountain passes.

.....and this is also great news.
  • My 2011 F250, 6.7, had 73,000 miles and zero problems. Just traded it in on a 2015 F450. Hoping the 2015 is as problem free as the 2011 F250 was.
  • Good report... My Super Duty 6.7 PSD is coming up on 3 years and has ~63k miles and no problems to date. Actually this is my best truck to date. Great power and towing performance, great fuel economy and a very refined shifting transmission to name a few.
  • I have a friend who owns 3 of the 6.7 F350s and he uses them in his hot shot trucking business. He's putting a ton of miles on them, and just normal maintenance (lots of tires) so far.
  • That's great to have somebody actually praising something, normally all we hear is the complaints. I have a 15 F350 6.7 DRW on order.
