How about a 2015, 260K and just put a water pump on it. Is that a pretty good test?
500 miles a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, 130K a year, for 2 years running... that might be a pretty good test, but not a very TYPICAL usage.
One of the many reasons I didn't buy a 6.7 is due to the very short trips I use my diesel truck for. It isn't like I can carry the stuff I haul in the truck and walk, but I may only drive the truck walking distance (2 or 3 miles) on any given day, and certainly not everyday.
The steady state highway use that a 2015 model year truck with 260,000 miles on it in only 2 years is a strong indication that the diesel exhaust system had plenty of opportunity to stay regenerated and clean.
A lot of the internal engine problems with the last three Ford diesels have in many ways involved some part of the emissions system, whether EGR, cooling, sensors, DPF/SCR, etc. I'm quite sure my limited usage of a diesel truck would surely lead to clogging and related problems.
So neither too few miles, nor too short of a period, nor way too many atypical miles in a radically short period, are validating tests for some usage patterns. And that is a conundrum for buyers who require or want turbo diesel pulling power at altitude for GCWRS that exceed the ratings for other alternatives.
