6000lb camper, blown tire on the highway
First, I'm only guessing the weight. I can feel it's a little heavier than my former AF 1150. The DOT scale by my house has been closed since I got my new camper. But anyway... Coming back today...

On my Ford, I dropped the spare, un bolted the hoist, then indexed the hoist so that the crank hole faced the right rear portion of the wheel well, marked the new holes to drill, and drilled them. Now I can drop the spare from the passengers side of the truck. Many others here have done that here, so this is not my new idea. But it works quite well!
