6500 lb with 2001 Expedtion- 4x4 5.4, Adequate?

Just started using a new (to me) 74 Boles Aero 31-footer. Dry weight 5900 lb. Plus people and junk might be north of 6500 lb TV is 2001 Expedition fully loaded, 4X4 with tow package and 16" tires. ...

WD is a 20 year old Reese system with no sway control. I need to upgrade the tires and do a proper setup before i can eliminate the WD issues but that will take weekend time I do not have.

My question is about the adequacy of the Expedition with that much trailer for extended travel.
