Some of the wire colors for lights are also swapped. Instead of paying shipping back should I just buy a new connector and wire it to cut my losses? are non molded connectors a no no? I'd say contact eTrailer and get one from them. If it doesn't fit properly, they are liberal with their return policy, especially if you contact their Q&A people before hand for advice. Buy Curt brand if you can, they make a quality 7 pin connector that eTrailer.com carries.
