Do you have a tow package? What rear end ratio? Read your owner's manual. Between it and the door sticker, you should have all the information needed to determine what you can reasonably tow. With a half ton, payload is the limiting factor in most cases. A 7200 lb. trailer will have a tongue weight of about 950 lb. You may have to limit extra cargo in the truck.
