I went from gas ram 1500 hemi to diesel ram 2500 5.9 and what you might want to take into account is your driving style. I filled up my gasser for 85 dollars and a tank would get me 320 before I would fill up again. Takes about 100 to fill up but tank gets me almost twice the miles. Ill take 100 a tank over 170 to be around the same mpg anyday. I might go back to a gasser one day, but for now im having to much fun.
