Was talking with a co-worker just this morning about the "good old days" when most people didn't even factor in fuel costs when constructing their monthly budget; now, between the 3 cars in the family, 2 of which are driven daily, I budget $500/mo for fuel*, making it my 2nd highest monthly bill and higher than either payment on the vehicles!
*that's just normal use; a few road trips & up that # goes :M
