He doesn't seem to be much of a 'take care of equipment' kind of guy.

I think it is great trying to keep something running if it is practical. Looks like this is just his get to work vehicle. But I am curious what is included in this alleged "total repair" bill. For over 300k miles I would think tires and oil alone would eclipse this figure. Other then that not sure it looks like he put much else into it to keep it running.

I read that as a single repair bill hasn't gotten above $1,000. I would think the other interpretation is baloney. That's $26/year.
