$75 on a truck that lasted 38 years

I took it to mean that no single repair has been more than $1,000. That figure would cover an oil change a year for 38 years, but not tires, clutch replacement, brake shoes, etc. Too bad he is in the rust belt, in California his truck would still be rust free.
