Why on earth, unless you have directional tires would you break the tires and swap them to keep the rotation the same?
I mean yeah sometimes that’s What’s called for based on wear patterns, but more often than not, some of the wear is induced by the direction it’s rotaing. Most notably tread feathering.
By changing the rotation direction, this indices wear in the opposite direction, correcting the previous wear issue rather than exaggerating it.
