I just lock the door, put up any valuables. As a deterrant, I put the coupler lock on upon arrival and set up.
I've only had instance of theft and that was at a dog show, someone came in the middle of the night and stole my EZ Up canopy side panels and were in process of taking my canopy when something spooked them. The thieves had already pulled the stakes and dropped the canopy corners. They did steal my friend's EZ Up canopy (we both use commercial grade). She also has an A-Frame, same model as mine & was set up right next to me. This was her first time to be robbed while using it. Of all things, I'd never have figured someone would come in the dead of night, in a heavy rainstorm and steal a canopy. Go figure.
