Well I figure “customary” weights and measures will never totally disappear because the metric system lacks the “exaggeration factor”. Who ever heard of taking a shot at a speeding coyote and missing him by a kilometer? You will always miss by a mile.
That thing weighs a ton! Not a tonne.
Or that fave reality TV unit of measure the “football field”.
