A new gas engine for GM heavy duty trucks is coming

I've had to deal with the metric system since the early '70's. However I find I covert metric to British Imperial System in my head. Liters and cubic centimeters to cubic inches...etc. Why, who knows, in my case the 'old' system of measurement makes more sense to me. That's what I learned at school and use exclusively for the first 20 odd years of my life until the metric system was used.
