Nice trip and pix, Ralph. We were along the OR coast last week with our kids and g-kids but did not see as much moss or ferns as you did, but we had great 68 degree F weather. Our kids rented a 26 foot 'C' Ford F-450/V-10 that worked out pretty well. We caravanned our way down the coast from Florence moving from State Campground to State Campground.
