A/C condenser fan not working

My C3500 Silverado A/C condenser fan appears not to be working. I have a good A/C relay and the 30 amp fuse is good. I have voltage to the fuse and breaker but nothing at the fan motor. Question, it there a thermal switch or something between the fuse and fan motor? Should the fan be on continuously with the A/C on? Thanks

  • Like IB said. Your high pressure side of the A/C system tells the fan to come on. Go have it hooked up to an A/C machine. You may be a little low in freon. If it gets too low the evap will freeze up and you will loose cooling.
  • I believe its a pressure switch in the AC system. You might have a leak in the system?
