My experiance, I added a 125watt solar panel. My TC came with LP Onan generator. After 6 seasons I have 8 hours on the genny. Those hours are mostly from powering my house in a power failure and runnig it for maintaince. I have found the solar keeps my 2 AGM batteries topped off. I never(almost) use the genny while camping. Its noisy and expensive to run. The Honda is fairly quiet , but you might think about not getting one in lieu of the solar. See how you do without the genny, you can always add one. The Honda seems to be a very good choice, but you will loose storage, plus have the responsibility of maintaince , theft deterant, and one more thing to lug around. In my case I dont need it.
Since the truck will charge the TC batteries I added a remote start to be able to start the truck and charge the batteries from bed if I think its needed. Once the sun is up Im self sufficient.
Im very happy with my AGM batteries, they are way better than conventional and worth the differance.
If you will be camping in hot areas consider modifying your fridge to handle the heat.
