adding chip to F250
I have a 2016 F250 with a 6.7 diesel, 6 speed automatic. Has anyone tried putting a chip in one of these trucks to get better MPG and do you think it would harm the truck? Thanks, Happy Camping

GM corporate will request an ECM snapshot. So if your CP4 takes a dump and takes out the entire fuel system just make sure you have $10-12k on hand to cover the cost because corporate will deny your warranty. Now if you power window does out that's a different story and why I said a programmer will void your POWERTRAIN warranty, not bumper-to-bumper warranty.
That is on reason why I didn't go with a GM or Ford back in 2014. I knew that I was going to tune and modify my truck long before the warranty period was up and was more afraid of voiding the warranty on the Ford and GM due to the CP4 than I was with the Cummins and the CP3. Not saying it would have happened. I was just a little more afraid of it in those trucks due to it happening to people I personally know and what I read in the forums.
