A 200 even 400 a/h battery will not put any undue strain on the alternator.
100w to 250w panel should keep your office running all day with the battery. Doubt you even need the solar.
You really do not need to have a big system for a couple laptops, cell phones etc.
Probably 300 watt inverter is fine.
